Nana: We"ll get on the train at Platform 2. Let"s take the elevator to get upstairs.

John: Okay. I"m wondering whether our seats are first-class or second-class.

Nana: They"re first-class seats.

Nana: Now the train is boarding. Let"s go to the first-class carriage. My seat is D14, and yours is D15.

John: Lovely! It"s clean, bright, spacious, and comfortable as well.

Nana: It runs at a speed of 250 kilometers an hour. The maximum speed is 300 kilometers per hour.

动词 get 的用法非常多，习惯搭配也很多。句中“get on + 交通工具”的表达意为“上车”。如：get on a train/bus/car 上火车/公交车/小汽车。
get off 意为“下车”。如：
I"m getting off (the bus/train) at the next station.
我在下一站下车。
15.Let"s take the elevator to get upstairs.
我们乘电梯上去。
“乘电梯”的英文是 take an elevator (美国英语)、take a lift (英国英语)、take an escalator (乘自动扶梯)。get upstairs (到楼上)、get downstairs (到楼下)。

我想知道我们的座位是一等座，还是二等座。
I"m/was wondering whether/if...是英语口语中很常用的句型，凡是你要询问对方什么事情，或要请对方帮个忙，或想邀请对方做什么，都可用这个句型。请看下面的句子：

句子“ May I have your attention, please?” 是个请求句和礼貌用句，在火车站、机场等公共场所很常用，用于提醒公众注意。类似的句子还有：
(1)May I have your business card, please?
请把您的名片给我(一张)可以吗?
(2)May I have your address, please?
请把您的地址给我(一下)可以吗?
(3)May I have your passport, please?
请把您的护照给我(看一下)可以吗?

开往三亚的D7323次列车在2号站台开始上车了。
board 在此用作动词，意为“上(车、船)；登机”，go boarding 上车(船)、登机。如：
Now the train is boarding.
现在该上(火)车了。
The flight/plane is now boarding.
开始登机了。
19.Would you please go boarding with your baggage?
请带上您的行李上车。
would you please do sth 也是个常用的请求句型，语气委婉。请看下面的对话：
(1)A: Would you please give me a hand?
请您帮我一下好吗?
B: Sure. 当然。
(2)A: Would you please come to the meeting on time?
请您按时来开会好吗?
B: Okay. No problem.
好的，没问题。
20.Lovely! 太好了！
英语口语中表达“很好；太好了；好极了；妙极了”等带有赞赏情感的感叹词语很多，如：good、very good、great、amazing、lovely、fabulous、fantastic、fascinating、wonderful等。

and...as well 是一个常用短语，意为“除……之外；也；还”。请看下面的句子：
(1)He likes coffee and tea as well.

比较：He likes coffee as well as tea.
他既喝茶，也喝咖啡。
(2)The bookstore sells books and newspapers as well.
这家书店既卖报也卖书。
(3)He is a successful businessman and a novelist as well.
他是个成功的商人，同时也是一位小说家。
22.And it goes very fast.
而且速度很快。
本句也可说成“The train runs fast.”，动词 go 指“移动；旅行；行走”的方式。如：
She"s going too fast.
她走得太快。
The train went very slowly.
这趟车行驶得很慢。
23.How fast does the high-speed train run?
高铁的速度如何?
这句话用来询问某种交通工具的速度。请看下面的对话，
(1)A: How fast does a car run/go?
这辆车能跑多快?
B: It runs/goes at a speed of 150 kilometers an hour.

24.The maximum speed is 300 kilometers per hour.
最高时速300千米。
maximum可用作形容词，意为“最高的；最多的；最大极限的”，如：the maximum temperature 最高气温。该词也可作名词用，其复数是maxima。如：
There are a maximum of twenty-five students in an English class.
英语教学班学生人数至多25名。
This job requires you to use your skills to the maximum.
这份工作要求你最大限度地发挥你的技能。
25.We"re arriving at Sanya Station at 12:00 noon.
我们将于中午十二点到达三亚站。
这是一个用现在进行时表示将来时间的句型。arrive at/in 意为“到达、抵达某地”。通常到达具体的地点，如机场、火车站、汽车站、酒店、小村庄等用介词 at；到达较大的地方，如城镇、国家等用介词 in。请看下面的句子：
