应党群服务中心之邀，2月3日下午为我们社区的小伙伴们上了一节别开生面的英语课——用英语来表达我们过春节时的常用语、新年祝福语、十二生肖、新年歌。深受孩子们的喜爱，他们在课堂上认真做着笔记，兴致勃勃地挑选自己喜爱的祝福语，准备过年的时候用英语来露一手！

An Exotic Chinese Lunar New Year
Chinese Lunar New Year is approaching soon. 2021 is the year of ox 。What do people do in the lunar new year?
People make dumplings and stick paper-cuttings for window decoration in northern China, while people go to flower shows and buy mandarin oranges in southern China. People also hang lanterns, paste spring festival couplets and new year pictures and set off fireworks and firecrackers to celebrate new year. People make a big meal as family reunion dinner on the new year"s eve. It means that the whole family get together to enjoy the meal and celebrate the new year"s coming. People watch Spring Festival Gala after dinner. Married couples give lucky money to the young people on the days of new year. People also pay a New Year"s visit to relatives and say new year"s greetings to each other, we believe that these greetings will bring us good luck.
Most of us have to stay up during spring festival because of the coronavirus pandemic this year, but we will still enjoy holiday with our family together.
2021年是牛年，新春马上就到来了。农历新年人们会做些什么呢？
在北方，人们过年的时候包饺子贴窗花，而南方，则逛花街买年橘。过年了，家家户户挂灯笼、贴春联、贴年画、放烟花、放鞭炮。除夕夜，做一大桌丰盛的美味佳肴团圆饭，一家人团团圆圆开开心心过新年。每年年夜饭后，当然少不了观看迎春晚会。
新年期间，结婚的人们会给小伙伴们红包压岁钱，人们串门走亲戚，互道新年祝福，图个新年好意头。
今年由于新冠疫情影响，鼓励大家就地过年，虽然如此，大家仍旧跟家人们在一起欢度春节！
