第四单元学习的主题是谈论事物和人物今昔的变化，对比使用两种时态：一般过去时和一般现在时。
p.s.有些内容在之前的知识点汇总中出现过，再次出现为及时地进行复习巩固强化。
一、句型及交际应用：
1、某个地点的今昔：
There was/were (no) ... years ago. Now /Nowadays,there is/are....
=There were not any ....
=There was not a ....
即： no=not a/any（no后面跟可数名词单数复数均可，也可以跟不可数名词）
There were no computers at all before.
There weren"t any computers at all before.
There wasn"t a computer at all before.
2、人物过去到现在的变化:
Before, sb was.... Now, sb ...(before也可以放在句尾）
Before, I was short. Now I am tall.
3、There be +n. +doing 有……在做某事
There is a guest visiting the school
有个客人在参观学校。
4、What be+sb/sth like? ……什么样？
What was your school like before?
你的学校以前什么样？
5、Let me see. 让我看看。
6、It was raining. 正在下雨（过去进行时，了解即可）
7、Don"t worry. 别着急。
8、What else can you see?
＝What other thingscan you see?
你还能看到什么别的东西？
else可以直接用在疑问词之后，用other后需加名词。
二、短语：
1、look up （在词典中或通过电脑）查阅
look it up （当宾语为代词时，只能放在中间）
2、not...at all 根本不,一点儿也不
I don"t like music at all.

当sth为代词时，只能用第二种（所有双宾语的用法均如此）
give it to me,不能说成give me it

三、语法：一般过去时和一般现在时的对比学习。
增加一般过去时的时间状语：
in 1969（过去时间）, in my time ，at that time 。
