到底什么叫“(原版)英语阅读”？什么才叫“读懂”了“(原版)英语阅读材料？
有人以为“我读懂了它的中文意思”，或者“我能把它英译汉阅读”就叫“英语阅读”了。
此言差矣！
多少“哑巴英语”就是出自这种“用中文读懂就是英语阅读”，“能英译汉就是英语阅读”之手。
只有做到“英译英”，在“英语阅读”中把学过的英语“用起来”，阅读中能“用”英语的阅读才叫真正的“英语阅读”，才是不论你有没有所谓的客观“英语语言环境”，你的英语能力永远都不受其影响，“英语语言环境”有没有都无所谓，不会产生“哑巴英语”的“英语阅读”：你做到了吗？
一、你怎么“读懂”下面英语的，通通“翻译”成中文吗？
This year"s Chongyang Festival, or Double Ninth Festival, falls on October 25. The holiday, celebrated as a ritual to worship ancestors and pray for longevity, is observed on the ninth day of the ninth month of the Chinese lunar calendar.
An exhibition marking the ancient Chinese festival opened on Friday (October 23) at the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles (SFLAC) in Shanghai.
A total of 258 pieces of cultural artifacts are on display for the following week.
二、真正的“英语阅读”是这样的

你“没用”英语，却把fall on Oct.25“翻译”成中文来“阅读”并“读懂”？

“不允许”你把上面的英语“一字不漏”、“准确”地“翻译”成中文(并以为自己因此“懂”英语了)！！

你是这样“英语阅读”的吗？因为“说不出”英语，干脆“说” 中文。这也叫“读英语”乎？

把英语Chinese lunar calendar“说成”中文易，像我那样“说成”英语(用英语)Christian solar calendar就难了，很多人“打死我都不会从Chinese lunar calendar想到Christian solar calendar”的：这就是你“哑巴英语”式的“英语阅读”：别以为“懂”其中文了就不是“哑巴英语”了。

“英语阅读”是用英语“互为理解”“互为解释”的(能力)：不是“见子打子”的“英译汉”。

用英语“互为理解”就能完成“英语阅读”，就是在“用”英语，就是在没有任何英语语言环境“保护”下同样可以把“哑巴英语”拒之千里(甚至更远)之外。
凡是不能“像我”上面那样做“英语阅读”的，放弃所有以各种各样“名目”为目的的“英语学习”，朝着我所指引的这个唯一的英语学习“目的”努力吧！除此之外，其它的目的以及始终以中文作为“学习语言”，“阅读语言”，“理解语言”，“记忆语言”的“英语学习”都是浮云三天不碰，打回原形。
