在英语中，和use 有关的短语有：be used for、be used to、used to、get used to，这些短语，有的和use的本意----使用有关，有的和“使用”之意无关。
be used for + 名词/代词或动名词，“用作”；
be used to + 动词原形，表示“用于…”
used to + 动词原形，表示“过去常常”否定式可以是“didn’t use to”也可以是“usedn’t to”；
get/be used to + 动名词，表示“习惯于…...”，例句有：
Scissors are used forcutting things. 剪刀用来裁剪。
Scissors are used to cutthings. 剪刀用来裁剪。
He used to borrowmoney from his friends. 他过去常常向朋友借钱。
He has used to gettingup early every day. 他已经习惯了每天早起。
