昨天我们讲了10个俚语，今天我们讲特别有范儿的形容词。他们读起来不容易，看起来更奇怪，但是就是那么“高富美“，个个都透着优雅，知性，充满正能量。
1.ubiquitous [ju"bkwts] - means existing or being everywhere
随处可以见，到处都是。
听起来有点嫌弃的意思，哈哈哈哈...比如星爸爸在中国的数量，逆天了...
我们可以说：“Starbucks coffee is ubiquitous in China."
那这个词也可以用在你听过的话，道理，有点“老生常谈”的意思。
注意：不要用在人的身上，因为每个人都是独一无二的，不可能出现“连锁”...
2.cumbersome [kmbrsm] - difficult to move or carry
笨重的；累赘的；难处理的。通常是用在【某件东西很难搬】，因为它很重或者造型奇异；另外也可以表述一种情况，很【棘手】的事情，特别麻烦。
我们可以说：It"s a cumbersome situation, a cumbersome challenge, a cumbersome life.
3. facetious [f"sis] - means not to be taken literally or serious
诙谐的；爱开玩笑的；滑稽的。它的意思不是幽默，而是说你可能在【开玩笑或者是在骗骗人都人家玩那种】；也有【吐槽开涮】别人的意思（没有恶意的），在英语里叫tease。
我们可以说：You are being facetious. - 你简直了...(不可思议）
4.arduous ["ɑrdus] - describe something that you have to do like a task
努力的；费力的；险峻的。通常用到这个词去描述有某件【很有难度，需要你花大量的精力和想法去完成】，比如写论文吧，就是件很arduous的事，费劲。
我们可以说：It can be a long and arduous task and very often ends in failure.
5. presumptuous [pr"zmptus] - means that they"re showing little or no respect for others by doing something that they shouldn"t be doing
专横的；放肆的；冒昧的。教你们最简单的记忆方法，女朋友或者老婆总是不顾你的想法和建议，要求你这样那样，此时你肯定很恼火觉得她一点都【不尊重，蛮横不讲理，对你无比放肆！】；另一种情况就是你朋友来你，进家门就指指点点，或者随意开你的抽屉翻看，那种就很【冒昧】。
我们可以说：If you just walk inside like you own the place, then you would be presumptuous.
6.pensive ["pnsv] - if somebody is pensive that just means that they are in deep thought
沉思的，忧郁的。这个词我很喜欢，感觉很有思想，有种哲学家的意境。【忘乎所以的沉浸在自己的思考中】，思考人生和这个琢磨不透的世界。
我们可以说：His dark eyes were pensive,almost thoughtful, and they were directly aimed at me. （是不是特别美这句话...满满的都是爱慕）
7.circuitous [s"kjts] - talking about a very roundabout way to get somewhere
迂曲的；绕行的；迂回线路的。如果你去一个陌生的地方旅游，有人给你指路，但是终究因为先天性路盲的原因，你就【绕啊绕】，【兜了个大圈子】才找到目的地。
我们可以说：We ended up taking a circuitous route.
8.conscientious ["kɑn"ns] - means that they have a moral responsibility to do their work carefully, and also you know to treat others with respect
认真的；尽责的；本着良心的。老板最喜欢这种人了，做事【小心谨慎，有责任心，懂得尊重他人】，嗯！我也喜欢！
我们可以说：He abhorred violence of any kind and was hard-working, loyal and conscientious.
9.meticulous [m"tkjls] - that means that they try to pay really close attention to the details
一丝不苟的；小心翼翼的；拘泥小节的。这种人也不是都讨人喜欢的，特别【较真】，处女座的居多，什么是都要【确认再三】，但是，反过来讲，有些情况还是很需要这种性格的人的，特别是秘书啊，行政工作。
我们可以说：They"re meticulous in their work.
10.convoluted ["kɑnvlutd] - it means that it is extremely difficult to follow because things are connected and intertwined, and mixed around in a way that"s difficult to understand.
复杂的；费解的；旋绕的。比如你的过往经历，或者一个故事，说不清楚的感情纠缠。
我们可以说：Notice the convoluted rope work.
英语不是看了就会说的，对着镜子说5遍，你会变的更自信，相信我。
