This kind of phenomenon is not entirely a coincidence. Several contributing factors are as follows. Firstly, humans are greedy and brutal—they slaughtered a great number of species for food, for fun and for huge profit. Even worse, as the human population grew rapidly, fewer inhabitant areas were left for animals. The scenario in the cartoon brings home to us that anyone, without support from others, can hardly lead to a normal life. Indeed, a wise man once summarized this idea as a motto, “Labor makes a human, and mutual assistance makes human society.” it is not uncommon to find someone leaving his seat to a pregnant lady regardless of his discomfort and some strangers taking the wounded in a car accident to a hospital regardless of his time loss. They are motivated by the notion that mutual assistance is the basis of a harmonious world.
5. 罗列论证：按照事物发展的顺序，罗列事实、观点
How to step out of the shadow? In front of us are two ways, a passive one and an active one. The former is to consult an expert or senior when one is confused or bewildered. That is a way, but advices are not always available anytime. So we’d better choose the latter: to weigh the negatives and positives, to make sure what the sole purpose is, to make a decision conforming to the needs, and to be prepared for the side-effect.
