在说明本课之前，先熟读课文结合Let"s try部分进行学习，明白Sarah为什么自己到商店购物？通过课文理解进行句型练习。今天我们以PEP小学英语五年级下册 Unit 1 B部分let"s talk为例来说明，想学的过来看看。
Let’s talk
Shopkeeper: Why are you shopping today?
店主：为什么今天你购物呢？
Sarah: My mum worked last night.
萨拉：我妈妈昨晚工作了。
So I"m shopping today.
所以今天我购物。
Shopkeeper: Good girl! So what do you do on the weekend?
店主：好女孩！那周末你都做什么呢？
Sarah: I often watch TV and play ping-pong with my father.
萨拉：我经常看电视，和我的父亲打乒乓球。
Shopkeeper: That sounds like a lot of fun.
店主：听起来很有趣。
Sarah: Yes, but I"m also hard-working.
萨拉：是的，但我也很努力。
I usually wash my clothes. Sometimes I cook dinner.
我通常洗我的衣服。有时我做晚饭。
Shopkeeper: You"re so busy! You need a robot to help you!
店主：你是那么的忙！你需要一个机器人帮你！

2.What does Sarah do on the weekend?

Sarah is also hard-working.
萨拉也很努力。
She usually washes her clothes. Sometimes she cooks dinner.
她通常洗她的衣服。有时她做晚饭。
3.Do you think Sarah needs a robot ?
你认为萨拉需要一个机器人吗？
She is busy.She need a robot.
她很忙。她需要一个机器人。
4.举一反三，在句中找出重点知识、介词短语和动词短语，换句型再来练习。
a.XXX be shopping. 举例：I’m shopping. 我正在购物。
b.last night. 举例：I went to bed at 12 o’clock last night.
c.watch TV. 举例：I don’t like watching TV.
d.play ping-pong. 举例：I often play ping-pong with my friend in the park.
e.wash the clothes. 举例：I can"t wash my clothes.
f:cook dinner. 举例：It"s your turn to cook dinner.
